How To Apply  

Application Guide

  1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. Degrease with MEK, Alcohol or ethanol if necessary.
  2. Where required, use Adhefoam open cell backer rod. Closed cell backer rod can also be used, but avoid damaging the outer skin to prevent gassing.
  3. For joints too shallow for backer rod, use a bond breaker tape to prevent three-sided adhesion.
  4. Fill the joint completely with sealant, avoiding air entrapment.
  5. Dry tool the sealant immediately before it skins over, typically within 10 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
Limitations  

Limitations

  • Do not use in closed rooms without adequate ventilation.
  • Do not expose to thermal, mechanical, or chemical influences before complete curing.
  • Not suitable for use on polyacrylate or polycarbonate without consulting the technical department.
  • Cannot be painted over.
