Gripset C-Lite Tile Adhesive

Gripset C-Lite is a high-performance tile adhesive specifically designed for commercial applications that involve a wide range of large format tiles and stones. Mixing, Applying, and Coverage:

To prepare Gripset C-Lite, mix one 15kg bag with 4.5 litres of clean water. Use a clean pail and add the dry powder to the water. Mix thoroughly using an electric stirrer with a paddle until a consistent lump-free mixture is achieved. Allow the adhesive to settle for 2-3 minutes, lightly re-stir, and it is ready for application.

Apply the adhesive to the surface using a notch trowel. The size of the trowel will depend on the type and size of tiles being used. Typically, a 10mm notch trowel is suitable for floor tiles, while a 6mm notch trowel is recommended for wall tiles.

Gripset C-Lite can be used with a bed thickness ranging from 3mm to 10mm, depending on the tiles. Press the tiles firmly into the freshly trowelled adhesive bed, ensuring 100% coverage by sliding the tiles at a right angle to the notch lines. For tiles with lugs or an uneven backing, use the buttered method on the rear of the tiles along with notching adhesive to the surface. Refer to AS3958.1-2007 "A Guide To The Installation of Ceramic Tiles" for comprehensive fixing methods.

The coverage of Gripset C-Lite will vary based on surface condition, tile type, and application technique. Using a 10mm notch trowel, the coverage is approximately 6-7m² on floors.

Storage:

Store Gripset C-Lite at room temperature in a dry environment. Avoid exposing it to cold freezing conditions or placing it directly on concrete floors. Keep the product away from direct sunlight. The shelf life is 12 months in unopened packaging.
