Elastoproof Prefabricated Corner Sections are designed to simplify and enhance the waterproofing capabilities of Elastoproof Jointing Band applications at crucial 90° and 270° corner intersections. These prefabricated corners create a seamless, flexible zone, ensuring a watertight and elastic seal even when exposed to movement and vibration.

Application Guide

1. Apply a generous coat of Gripset membrane to the surface, covering the entire rear corner profile.
2. Embed the corner profile into the wet membrane, ensuring all fabric edges are fully saturated.
3. Smooth out any creases or air pockets behind the fabric edges using a flat spatula or brush.
4. Remove excess membrane from the top surface of the corner.
5. Overlap and adhere Elastoproof Jointing Bands onto the prefabricated corner sections with a minimum overlap of 40mm using the selected Gripset membrane.

Limitations

• Not compatible with solvent-based materials (adhesives, sealants, coatings)
• Do not apply when the surface temperature is below 5°C or above 30°C

Packaging

• Internal 90° corners: 200mm x 200mm with 120mm wall/floor returns
• External 270° corners: 200mm x 200mm with 120mm wall/floor returns
• 3D Corners: 200mm x 200mm x 120mm high, with 150mm wall/floor return

It is recommended to test the adhesion of all products (primers, membranes, coatings, adhesives, etc.) on a typical area of the prepared surface before full application to ensure satisfactory adhesion.
