Its exceptional sealing and adhesion properties make it ideal for various applications, both above and below ground. This adaptable membrane is suitable for new construction, repair work, and protection against corrosion and moisture damage.

Application Guide:

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
  2. Priming: Apply Gripset 51 primer diluted with water (1:3 for porous, 1:1 for non-porous surfaces) or use alternative primers as recommended.
  3. Detailing: Seal critical areas (joints, cracks, penetrations) with appropriate products.
  4. Apply Gripset 51: Apply a minimum of two coats, ensuring total coverage of 1.5 litres/m².

Limitations:

  • Not suitable as a trafficable coating or for areas subject to rising damp/hydrostatic pressure
  • Do not apply to glass, glazed surfaces, or in wet conditions
  • Not for use as a sealant in expansion/control joints
  • May experience surface crazing with prolonged UV exposure
