Everflex WPUV HV (High Viscosity) - UV Membrane
Everflex WPUV is a high-quality, rapid-drying, water-based elastomeric waterproofing membrane with micro-fibre reinforcing. It is designed to provide exceptional waterproofing for various applications such as roofs, planters, wet areas, and more. Everflex WPUV cures to form a durable, odourless, and seamless waterproof membrane that exceeds the performance standards of AS-4858:2004. This UV stable membrane is non-reflective, making it suitable for a wide range of surfaces.

Applications:
- Wet areas, shower recesses, bathrooms, laundries, and toilets.
- Patios, terraces, decks, and balconies that are to be topped, tiled, left exposed, or coated with trafficable coatings.
- Concrete slabs above and below grade.

Limitations:
Do not use if rain is imminent or when temperatures are below 10°C or above 40°C.
Application:
Surface Preparation:
- All surfaces must be structurally sound, free from oils, grease, form release agents, curing compounds, dirt/dust, and any other surface contamination that may hinder adhesion.
- Ensure that surfaces are free from protrusions to achieve a continuous and even film build.
- Rectify non-structural cracks, holes, and deformities.
- Surfaces must be free from surface water and continual dampness.
Priming:
Dusty, very porous, and hot surfaces are detrimental to all surface coatings, so the use of a primer is recommended.
- For internal coatings, use Everflex SBP or Everflex WBP.
- For external applications such as roof decks, use Everflex VBS (Vapour Barrier System).
Compatible Primer Application:
Everflex VBS:
Mix at a 1:1 ratio and apply the primer to porous surfaces at a rate of 5 square meters per litre per coat, ensuring the achievement of a plastic film. If this is not achieved, additional coats may need to be applied.
Everflex WBP:
Water-based primer for internal applications can be applied to porous surfaces at a rate of no less than 6 square meters per litre. Allow it to dry before coating with the membrane.
Everflex SBP:
Solvent-based primer is best used for more difficult surfaces like PVC and waxy surfaces. Apply the primer at a rate of no less than 9 square meters per litre and allow it to dry before applying the membrane.
Coverage:
Internal: A minimum of two coats is required to achieve a dry film thickness (DFT) of 0.9mm, installed according to AS:3740 Class 3 Membranes.
External: A minimum of two coats is required to achieve a DFT of 1.1mm, installed according to AS:4654.2 Class 2 Membranes.
After the first coat is dry, apply the second coat at right angles to the first.
Average drying time is 2-3 hours at 25°C and 50% humidity.
