Uses

Priming non-porous substrates like rigid plastics (ABS, uPVC) and metals (brass, bronze, copper, aluminium, steel, etc.) before applying sealants or membranes.
Specifically recommended for use with Bostik Seal 'N' Flex 1, Seal 'N' Flex FC, Construction PU, Fireban One, and Matrix FC polyurethane sealants.
Suitable for various applications, including construction, automotive, and industrial projects.

How To Apply

Application Guide

Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
Dampen a clean cloth with Bostik N40 Primer and wipe the surface.
Immediately use a second clean cloth to remove any primer residue.
Allow the surface to dry for at least 5 minutes before applying sealant/adhesive or membrane.
Apply sealant/adhesive or membrane within 4 hours of priming.

Limitations

Use only on recommended non-porous substrates (see primer selection table).
Do not dilute or mix with other solvents or primers.
Ensure the surface is free of water and condensation before applying sealant/adhesive or membrane.
Re-prime if the surface is exposed to rain, dust, or other contaminants after application.
