Bostik 6S is a one-component, neutral-cure, mid-modulus silicone sealant designed for a variety of applications in wet areas. Its neutral cure system ensures a pleasant working experience, especially in confined spaces, and it provides excellent adhesion to various substrates, including powder-coated metals. This sealant is formulated with a fungicide to resist mould and mildew growth, making it perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas prone to moisture.

Application Guide
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
- Cut nozzle to desired bead width and apply sealant firmly into the joint.
- Tool the sealant within 10 minutes to ensure a smooth finish and good adhesion.
- Avoid contact with incompatible materials (plasticised sealants, bitumen, etc.).
Limitations
Bostik 6S is not suitable for the following applications:
- Totally confined spaces without access to atmospheric humidity
- Aquariums
- Adhering Mirrors
- Structural Glazing
- Underwater Applications (including swimming pools, subject to substrate)
- Below Grade Applications
- All stones (We recommend the completion of a stain testing program before using any sealant on stone)
- Horizontal walkways
This sealant is not paintable. Do not clean or treat the sealant with materials, cleaning agents, or solvents that may affect or discolour the sealant, particularly during product curing.
