RLA Aftek Trulevel Tuff Top Self Levelling Overlay

RLA TruLevel TuffTop is a rapid-drying, self-levelling compound designed to create smooth, even surfaces with high mechanical resistance. It is suitable for levelling new or existing concrete substrates from 3mm to 30mm thick, both indoors and outdoors.

Uses

• Levelling floors in commercial, domestic, and industrial settings
• Creating smooth surfaces for floor coverings like vinyl, timber, carpet, linoleum, and tiles
• Suitable for areas with heavy traffic and high point loads (when applied at 15mm minimum thickness)

Application Guide

1. Prepare the substrate: Ensure it's clean, dry, sound, and free from contaminants.
2. Prime the substrate: Use RLA Universal Primer, diluted for porous substrates and undiluted for non-porous substrates.
3. Mix RLA TruLevel TuffTop: Combine one 20kg bag with 3.8-4.0 litres of clean water. Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes until lump-free.
4. Apply the mixture: Use a gauge rake, spreader, squeegee, screed bar, trowel, or pump to apply the mixture to the desired thickness.
5. Allow to set: The product will harden in approximately 3-4 hours at 23°C.
6. Install floor coverings: Depending on the type of flooring, installation can typically begin after 18-72 hours.

Limitations

• Not suitable for substrates with rising dampness.
• Do not apply over expansion joints.
• Extended drying times in cold temperatures.
