Sikasil® Pool is a one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant designed specifically for swimming pools and permanently wet areas. Its exceptional water resistance, high chlorine resistance, and flexibility make it the perfect choice for joints between tiles, concrete, glass, and metals in wet and aquatic environments.

Applications:

Sikasil® Pool is suitable for:

• Joints in and around swimming pools.
• Areas under permanent water immersion.
• Frequently wet areas between tiles, concrete, glass, and metals.

Additional Information:

• Sikasil® Pool cannot be overpainted.
• Colour variations may occur due to exposure to chemicals, high temperatures, and/or UV-radiation (aesthetic nature only).
• The use of non-prescribed tooling agents must be tested prior to use in application to ensure they will not cause aesthetical changes (such as discoloration).
• Do not use Sikasil® Pool on bituminous substrates, natural rubber, EPDM rubber, or materials that might bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents.
• Not suitable for structural glazing, insulated glazing, food contact, medical, or pharmaceutical uses.
• Before using Sikasil® Pool on natural stone, please contact our Technical Service Department for advice.
• Recommended curing time before filling the pool: minimum of 7 days (depending on conditions).
• Maintain a pH value between 6.5 and 7.6 and free chlorine less than 5 mg/l in swimming pools and warm water whirlpools.
• Continuous water circulation is required to avoid chlorine concentrations.
• Avoid using acid-based detergents to reduce the risk of fungal attack.
