Application Guide

  1. Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle to the desired bead width.
  2. Apply the sealant to the substrate with a sealant gun and tool within 5 minutes.
  3. Uncured sealant can be cleaned up with mineral turpentine.
  4. Some surfaces may need a primer before applying the sealant.
  5. Use approved backing material for joints over 10mm deep.
  6. For a neat appearance to the joint, use masking tape.
  7. Always remove masking tape before the sealant has skinned over.

Limitations

    • Not recommended for use with concrete, marble, galvanized steel, lead surfaces, or the fixing of mirrors without the manufacturer's approval.
    • Do not use on submerged joints where porous substrates permit water to the bond interface.
    • Not for use in aquarium manufacturing.
    • Cannot be painted.
    • Not for use on some laminated glass or certain rubber products where bleeding of plasticizer may occur.
