Adheseal Primer VBS is a high-performance, two-part water-based epoxy designed to prime and waterproof a wide range of substrates, even damp surfaces. It can be used as a vapour barrier system, primer for waterproofing membranes, negative hydrostatic pressure barrier, and in floor coating systems. Its versatility makes it suitable for various applications in the construction industry.

• Vapour barrier and primer for parquetry and waterproofing systems

Application Guide

1. Vapour Barrier/Parquetry Flooring: Apply two coats with a brush or roller at a minimum thickness of 200µm (5m2/litre per coat).
2. Primer/Membrane Systems: Apply one coat at 4-8m2/litre. A second coat may be needed for porous substrates. Apply within 24 hours of the first coat.
3. Negative Membrane: Repair cracks and fill holes before application. Apply a minimum of two coats at 3m2/litre per coat to achieve a 0.33mm dry film thickness.

Limitations

• All coats must be applied within 24 hours of the previous coat.
• Waterproofing properties are enhanced when used with suitable waterproofing membranes.
