Product Characteristics

  • Size: 1 Litre, 4 Litre, 20 Litre
  • Colour: Natural

Uses

Everbond Brush Contact has a very broad adhesion range and gives a strong and lasting bond. Suitable substrates include:

  • Timber
  • Rubber sheets
  • Plastic laminates
  • Leather
  • Fabric
  • Cloth backed and polyester backed vinyl
  • MDF
  • Particleboard
  • Concrete
  • Glass
  • Metal sheets

In the production of transport vehicles, Everbond Brush Contact is suitable for the room temperature contact bonding of different covering materials such as PUR foams and textiles. It can also be used for adjoining steps, wheel arches, seat brackets, and side walls, especially for covering materials with high spring back forces like cover trims and edging profiles. Everbond Brush Contact is also suitable for auto upholstery and furniture upholstery. Testing with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

Application Method / Tools

  1. The adhesive generally is applied with suitable rollcoater, tooth-comb, brush or notched trowel.
  2. Apply to both surfaces evenly.
  3. Wait until touch dry (normally 3-5 minutes) depending on drying conditions, then bring the materials together with strong even pressure.
  4. Care must be taken to avoid the formation of adhesive pools on the bonding surfaces. Entrapped solvent causes weak bond & blistering.
  5. For application on open weave or porous materials, Adheseal spray contact is advised, as spraying avoids the adhesive bleeding through the substrate.
  6. Once the container is opened, the material must be used up in a short time.

Specifications

  • SPRAY GRADES SP230 & SP220: High quality, 18% solids, drying time 3-5 minutes.
